Pepe Serna was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, and has had a long and successful career as a film and television actor, with more than sixty feature films and forty television shows to his credit.

Today, Pepe's passion is working with children in a fabulous one man show that features fascinating characters developed over years of entertaining.

Pepe Serna co-starred with Edward James Olmos in American Me, Ballad of Gregorio Cortez, and 300 Miles for Stephanie. He also appeared with Al Pacino in Scarface, with Clint Eastwood and Charlie Sheen in The Rookie, Kevin Costner in Silverado and Fandango, Steve Martin in The Jerk, Richard Pryor in CarWash, and Jennifer Lopez in two CBS series as her father, in Second Chances and Hotel Malibu.

Pepe Serna is also set to guest star in the upcoming NBC Series "Kingpin" as a druglord.  The series premiers in NBC's 2002 Fall Schedule.  Other projects include a project with Edward James Olmos are also in progress.

Pepe began painting after he met the love of his life, his wife Diane, in 1969. Diane is both his inspiration and his critical eye. They have lived in their Mexican jungle hacienda in Los Angeles for twenty-two years.

Pepe's paintings reflect the vibrant, tropical colors, and celebrate the pulsating rhythms of the people and places they have traveled to and enjoyed.

Collectors of Pepe Serna's art include Azteca Americas Television Network, Collector Peter Padilla, Hollywood Actor Edward James Olmos and Actress/Singer Jennifer Lopez.

Commissioned works of Pepe Serna have included Nevada Hispanic Services and the City of Reno Cinco de Mayo Celebracion de la Cultura, the Newport Film Festival, and the Los Angeles Museum of Art.
