What is Solar Glass?

Solar glass or Photovoltaic Glass is an energy capture device that converts sunlight into electricity. It is made of two or more panes of heat treated, safety glass, and it offers the same thermal, sound insulation, and natural light as conventional window glass. How does it work?

The solar cells are designed so that one side is positively charged and the other is negatively charged and when the photons loosen up the electrons in the cell, the electrons are connected to the positive side of the cell. When they move from the negative side to the positive side of the cell, they made a current of electricity, which then flows into a wire and powers device.
